Ben is a PhD. Candidate in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Dr. Bill McIlroy. Ben began working with the gait and balance platform of ONDRI during his master’s degree. Generally, Ben is interested in the connection between mobility and health. Ben’s current research aims to assess “how walking patterns change for those living with neurodegeneration”. Ben is interested in answering this question through the lens of gait analysis in both clinical or laboratory settings as well as it occurs in the “real” world to inform health related concerns and improve quality of life for people living with neurodegeneration.
