Jennifer Mandzia, MD, PhD., is an Assistant Professor of Neurology, Western University and Co-Medical Director, Southwestern Ontario Stroke Network.

She obtained her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Toronto. Her doctoral thesis was on functional MRI (fMRI) in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and structural neuroimaging correlates. She obtained her MD from the University of Ottawa and completed her neurology training at Western University. She then completed a one year stroke fellowship at the University of Calgary, Calgary Stroke Program. Her research interests include cognition in stroke, minor stroke and Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), stroke in the young, and acute stroke.
