Mandar Jog, MD, is the Director of the National Parkinson Foundation Centre of Excellence, London Health Sciences Centre; Director of the Movement Disorders Program, London, Ontario; and Professor of Neurology, Western University.
He trained in neurology in Toronto and completed a fellowship in movement disorders followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in computational neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston and a Visiting Professorship at Stanford Research Institute, California. His research interests include motor control, neurophysiology and computational modeling, multichannel recording and web-based teaching of movement disorders. His research attempts to answer the structure and function of the basal ganglia and their role in movement disorders.
