Dr. Bryan Wong is a resident physician in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto. He previously completed optometry training at the University of Waterloo, followed by medical training at the University of Toronto.

His research with ONDRI focuses on evaluating the potential of using optical coherence tomography (OCT) as a non-invasive means to assess retinal structure as a biomarker for neurodegenerative disease. His research interests encompass various areas in ophthalmology including corneal disease, cataract surgery, and retinal imaging. He has presented his research at international conferences and published his team’s findings in ophthalmology and neurology journals.
